IXFI is pleased to announce support for the Fantom (FTM) token swap and its rebranding to Sonic (S). Here\u2019s everything you need to know about this transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key dates and actions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 January 13, 2025, at 03:30 (UTC):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 All existing FTM spot trading pairs will be delisted, and any open FTM trading orders will be canceled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Affected trading pairs include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 FTM\/BTC<\/a>, FTM\/BNB<\/a>, FTM\/ETH<\/a>, FTM\/FDUSD<\/a>, FTM\/USDC<\/a>, and FTM\/USDT<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Deposits and withdrawals of FTM tokens will be paused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 January 16, 2025, at 07:30 (UTC):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Deposits for the new Sonic (S) tokens will open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 January 16, 2025, at 08:30 (UTC):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Spot trading for Sonic (S) will begin with the following pairs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 S\/BTC, S\/BNB, S\/ETH, S\/FDUSD, S\/USDC, and S\/USDT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Token swap details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Exchange ratio:<\/strong> 1 FTM = 1 S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ticker update:<\/strong> FTM will be replaced by S as the new ticker across the IXFI platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Tokenomics update:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Initial circulating supply: ~2.88 billion S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Initial total supply: ~3.175 billion S (matching FTM\u2019s supply at launch).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Future supply changes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Capped at a 15% increase until 2031.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Annual inflation of 1.75% starting four years after the Sonic chain launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important notes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Withdrawals:<\/strong> After the transition, withdrawals of FTM tokens will no longer be supported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. User action required:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ensure all FTM deposits are completed before January 13, 2025, at 03:00 (UTC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Review and update any active trading strategies involving FTM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
